Press Service:

• List of exhibitors on the Internet, catalogues at the Press Centre
• Press releases, exhibitors press compartments and innovations/new product publications on the Internet or at the Press Centre
• Supervised PC press workstations with CD/DVD drives, Internet and e-mail access as well as communication interface for mobile PCs/laptops – storage of digital camera data, flatbed scanners, flashcard readers, image-processing software 
• W-Lan is available free of charge in the Press Centre
• Koelnmesse Photo Service:
  - Photos and logo for the event, shots of the exhibition centre as well as the city of Cologne are available for free download from the Koelnmesse image database
  - Photo CDs (high resolution) at the Press Centre
  - Electronic photo mailing service during the event
• Koelnmesse TV Service:
  WIGE MEDIA AG provides free material for all TV broadcasting companies: 
  10 to 15-minute rough cut on the highlights of the respective fair (interviews and expressive footage), available on first day of fair
  15 to 30-minute rough cut with background reports, (multi-lingual) interviews and material among others for international TV broadcasting companies, available one day after the fair.
  Depending on the enquiry, the "Feed" from the first day of the fair (rough cut) is distributed via satellite or ATM network. The international “Feed” is sent one day after the fair on tape (Beta SP/NTSC) per courier. Subject to prior arrangement and agreement, special requests expressed by individual broadcasters are also taken into consideration. If required, an ENG Team as well as an edit suite including cutter can also be hired. In this case we request that you register in good time (at least 24 hours beforehand). • Koelnmesse Radio Service:
  Koelnmesse offers radio stations the option of downloading broadcast-ready audio material in MP3-format for their reporting free of charge.
  The radio service can be accessed via the "Press" page of the respective event at the latest on the first day of the fair on the Internet. Here reports and original sound footage are available for preliminary listening and for direct download (MP3, 128Kb, Mono)
  In addition to complete broadcast-ready reports and features (between 1:30 and 7:00 min.) individual, editable modules as well as original sound footage and interviews on the fair are available.
  Individual reports or edit modules can also be produced separately subject to prior request. If required, the reports can also be sent via Audio CD.

Free Public Transport:
During SOLARIA Cologne 2007, all fair admission tickets, including the press accreditation, can be used as travel tickets on all local public transport in and around Cologne, including the S-Bahn (suburban train) S13 service from Cologne/Bonn Airport to the Exhibition Centre. This service is not valid on Deutsche Bahn (DB) trains subject to a supplement – http://www.vrsinfo.de

New: Book hotels, private accommodation, flights or complete travel packages online
Travel and accommodation can be booked quickly and easily on the SOLARIA website. The hotel services of Koelnmesse include partnerships with 75 hotels in Cologne and 34 in the surrounding area, all of which offer excellent rates for trade fair participants. You can book the hotel or reasonably priced private accommodation of your choice simply by clicking on the link “Hotels and private accommodation” on the SOLARIA website. Via the link “Flights and travel packages” Koelnmesse is cooperating with one of the world’s largest travel booking services to offer special combined travel packages consisting of hotel rooms, flights and rental cars at significant discounts from the rates that would normally be payable for booking individual services.
